I know I know....
I haven't posted in a long time. There's been interesting and fun stuff happening; we went on vacation finally and had a BLAST!!! I can't wait until next June. Jack travelled very well; he was cheerful, looked around at everything, ran around at the appropriate rest stops, ate on schedule...he even took little naps on the drive to and from North Carolina. He was terrific. Two diaper changes in an eight-hour period, and he was dry for one of them despite having a bottle of water all his own to drink during the trip. He was good at Nana and Papa's house, but it wasn't home, it wasn't his space. It was however Nana's territory, and she was in heaven having him there while we took off and did our own thing in Tennessee and Virginia for a few days. It was good for everyone, and we were happy to be home when it was over. Next year we're doing a trip via Mobile Home...a BIG one. :-)I'm bartending three days a week now. Ken's still with Stay Online. Jack now know's his ABC'S and his 123's. He'll be two next month. I can't wait.
Jack's gotten really smart. He's definitely his own person. He know's how to pick up his toys, eat with a fork and a spoon, have something short of a conversation with you that's relative to something he wants or needs. We've gotta get him into school...He's too smart to sit at home with me. He loves other little people his age, and he's really opened up a lot...Two already...wow.
That's about it. It's not hard to find the time to post lately, it's just hard to vocalize what it is that's going on here... it's basically the same stuff, except that Jack is growing, it's summer, I'm taking golf lessons, Ken's got a new game he's playing now, nothings changed. I'll keep up when something finally happens that's worthy of sharing...
