Sesame Street and the Sopranos!
Jack and I are enjoying our waffles and Sesame Street this morning, and as I'm watching Zoe the little monster dance around the screen, she suddenly becomes frightened. Note that things that frighten you are about to become the topic here.Poor little Zoe; who's going to come and explain the things that frighten an adult as well? It's none other than Tony Soprano himself, James Gandolfini!!! I started laughing so hard I choked on my Eggo! It seems that Mr. Soprano is afraid of the dark and needs his night light and teddy bear in order to get his zzzzz's. He's also afraid of hair cuts it seems, and can't have what little hair he has left cut without getting a lollipop from the Barber!
I've been watching Sesame Street since I was a little kid; Deanna watched it, and now of course Jackson is watching it as well...he's a HUGE Elmo fan! There are days when I see people like Harrison Ford, Vin Diesel and The Goo Goo Dolls on this show, and then I realize that you're really a cool celebrity once you've actually appeared on Sesame Street! Even U2 and Bruce Springstein have been on the show!
Imagine Tony Soprano...now my day has been made, but I'll never be able to actually watch "The Sopranos" again without seeing visions of James Gandolfini cuddling a monster and being afraid of the dark...somehow I feel like I'll always laugh when I'm watching him on TV now. Hey, at least he's a cool celeb, you have to give him that much, right?
