The Countdown to One!!!

24 hours and counting...Jackson Dillon Head will finally be a year old!

Where did the time go? As I read back through my blog, I realize how scared and niave I sounded when he was first born, and this isn't my first child! I guess it was just the age-gap between my children, and a first-time father in my husband that made me a little crazy this past year.

Jackson is a well-loved, well-fed, well-behaved child. All of the things I could have hoped for with this child are coming to fruition. He's bright, handsome, happy, fun-loving, trusting, smart, and he has a wonderful relationship with all of his family members. He is the light of his Nana's life, he is my pride and joy along with his older sister, and he is his daddy's little "goofy boy". This child is the cream of the crop amongst children.

So we wait for the next 24 hours to approach, and a little birthday cake and a big birthday dinner, and a few presents. We'll finish the celebration on Sunday with a huge party at Chuck E. Cheese's attended by about 35 people all in all.

Wow, I am starting to feel old now.
